Richard T. Parrette, Jr., President, holds a B.S. degree in Business Administration from Central Michigan University, with a Major in Marketing and Minor in Economics.

Mr. Parrette attended Seidman Graduate School, Grand Valley State University in Michigan.Richard’s corrugated packaging career began in 1972 when he joined Weyerhaeuser Paper Company as a sales trainee. After a few years as a successful sales representative he joined Boise Cascade where he spent the next 17 years. After establishing himself as an effective account manager he was promoted to Sales Manager. In 1987, he took over the management responsibility of the La Porte facility with a promotion to General Manager. In 1991, Jefferson Smurfit Corporation acquired the La Porte plant from Boise Cascade to meet growing national needs. Richard remained with the location for the next four years supporting the transition to a $35MM operation before starting Packaging Logic, Inc.

Dennis Bardon, Senior Vice President, holds a B.S. degree in Industrial Technology with a special concentration in Packaging from the University of Wisconsin-Stout. Currently a member of IOPP. 

After graduation in 1977, Dennis joined Mead Containers as a Technician in their Research and Development Center. A year and a half later he was promoted to Project Manager responsible for Corporate packaging design and packaged-product performance testing. In 1980 he was appointed Design Engineer at Mead’s Butner, NC plant. He was promoted to Sales Representative the following year. In 1983 Dennis joined Boise Cascade as an Account Manager and in two years was promoted to Sales Manager at the La Porte Facility. He remained with the plant through the transition to Jefferson Smurfit Corporation joining Dick Parrette in starting Packaging Logic, Inc.

After graduation, Mr. Cardello joined Amsted Industries in Chicago as Internal Auditor. After two years he was promoted to Senior-In-Charge of Internal Auditing and a year later was promoted to General Accounting Supervisor, a position he held until 1995. In 1995, Mr. Cardello accepted a position with American Steel Foundries, a division of Amsted, in Chicago as a Cost Accounting Supervisor. After one year he was moved to Manager over Cost Accounting and then was quickly promoted through several departments at the management level within the American Steel Foundries organization. In 2000, still with American Steel Foundries, Mr. Cardello moved his young family to St. Louis, Missouri to accept the position of Director of Sales - Truck SBU. In May 2001, Mr. Cardello was offered and accepted the position of Operations Manager / CFO with Packaging Logic, Inc.

Chad Parrette, Vice-President Sales, holds a B.A. degree (1993) from Purdue University in Communications and Advertising. After graduation he worked in radio advertising sales. In 1996, he accepted a position of Account Executive for Packaging Logic. Mr. Parrette sells, trains, and oversees the sales and design departments of Packaging Logic.

Cindy Hoehne, Vice President Finance & Business Systems, Prior to her tenure at Packaging Logic, Cindy Hoehne attended Purdue North Central and Indiana University South Bend while working in Purchasing and Human Resource administration at Hedwin Corporation in La Porte, IN. Later she would broaden her career path working at the law firm of Roemer and Mintz in South Bend, IN and the University of Notre Dame. The challenges of a manufacturing environment drew her back, in 1985, to work for Hiler Industries, in La Porte.In 1997, Cindy joined Packaging Logic’s Accounting Department. In 2003, she was promoted to Business Manager and in 2006, became PLI’s Vice-President of Finance and Business Systems. Cindy has over thirty-five years of accounting, administrative and organizational experience and currently manages the Accounting, Information Technology and Customer Service departments at Packaging Logic.
