Dick Parrette
President

Richard T. Parrette, Jr. holds a B.S. degree in Business Administration from Central Michigan University, with a Major in Marketing and Minor in Economics. Mr. Parrette attend Seidman Graduate School, Grand Valley State University in Michigan.

Richard’s corrugated packaging career began in 1972 when he join Weyerhaeuser Paper Company as a sales trainee. After a few years as a successful sales representative he joined Boise Cascade where he spent the next 17 years. After establishing himself as an effective account manager he was promoted to Sales Manager. In 1987, he took over the management responsibility of the La Porte facility with a promotion to General Manager. In 1991, Jefferson Smurfit Corporation acquired the La Porte plant from Boise Cascade to meet growing national needs. Richard remained with the location for the next four years supporting the transition to a $35MM operation before starting Packaging Logic, Inc.
